This bone tool is polished along the entire exterior surface, as is evidenced by the smooth texture and shine of the object. On one end the bone was clearly worked into a 4.39mm point. The fractures on the opposite end as well as the other side appear to be fresh (pre-depositional) breaks as indicated by their clean and angular nature.
