This dark redish brown tuff stone was intentionally worked into a circular form. The object, which is slightly fractured along one of its edges, exhibits clear symmetry. Though the edges are not entirely smooth, they are clearly rounded. The flat nature of the front and back sides suggest that this was a disk. It is also conceivable, given the object's thickness and coarse texture, that this object was some kind of grinder or polisher.
