This basalt groundstone appears to have been utilized as a grinder. It appears to have been naviform, but is broken on one end. The break is clean, creating a nice cross section to view the material of the tool. There are some signs of ware on the intact end of the tool. The weight of the tool exceeds the 400gram limit of the scale we have in field.
