This fragment of a stone tool is broken on multiple sides. While we have the whole width, it is important to not that the tool is broken with respect to breadth and length. It is striking how clean the breaks are on this tool. Based on the width and weight it seems likely the this could have originally been -- or was intended to be -- some kind of hammer or a very large polisher.
