Complete bowl. The first decorative element is a line that extends 360 degrees on the upper part of the shoulder. The next decorative element is 2 wavy lines, or a comb zig-zag element, that extend 360 degrees between (sometimes overlapping) the two horizontal lines. The last decoratve element is another single horizontal line that extends 360 degrees just above the shoulder-body break, however, it is inconsistent and almost like a dotted line in some places. There is also vertical polish that extends vertically from the body-shoulder break to the base. Thick white corosion covers 20% of the internal and external surfaces. The bowl has no neck and a rather sever shoulder angle a few degrees shy of cylindrical. At one point the entire exterior surface was likely polished, but there has been a lot of abrasion of that polish from the body and shoulder. Some medium to coarse sand inclusions are visible in the rim. While the external surface color is mainly consistent, there is some mottleling with Brown 7.5YR 4/2 on the upper external body. 08.21.2008. w/AFG.
