12.08.06 A rim to base sherd of a cup or frying pan, with the beginnings of an oval pinch handle emerging off the rim. Colors are mottled. Blackened exterior. May have been used for cooking. Traces of smoothing strokes, perhaps with a cloth, can be seen on the interior.
