Fragment from a small LM jar, beginning at the most inferior neck and extending to the inferior shoulder. Clear coil joins--smoothed--are vislbe on the superior portion of the interior shoulder and (inferior) neck. The decorative schema consists of three impressed furrows, two one superior shoulder and one on the inferior, each hosting an incised, circumferential zigzag or wavy line. 1.8 cm of “open space” separates the furrows. Which average .7 cm in width. The two superior furrows host zigzags with an average period of .65 cm and a .1 cm average width. The inferior furrow hosts a wavy line with a 1.1 cm average period and an average width of .2 cm. The “open space” between furrows, taking up most of the shoulder, may host polish ornamentation in the form of skew lines, but this is difficult to confirm. Part of the exterior were highly polished at some point, but more with accents than a broad polishing, especially framing the furrows. Dense circumferential rotational striations are visible on the interior surface. Exterior surface is mottled with Pale Brown 10YR 6/3 and Grayish Brown 10YR 5/2. The exterior surface features limited amounts of white dendritic concretion. In addition to the coarse sand, significant frequencies of very coarse, medium, and fine sand, and grit or grog are visible in the fabric. This is a very heterogeneous fabric with inclusions that moderately perforate all surfaces. Breaks are rough.
