Designated MAE1752--radiographed, XRF
Fragment from a small LB jar or bowl. The decorative schema consists of a single application of circumferential comb-incised lines--3 lines in total--positioned immediately superior to a single circumferential furrow. The lines average 0.1 cm in width and are spaced on average 0.15 cm apart. The exterior appears to have been highly polished at some point, with significant amounts of it now abraded off, particularly between each comb incision. The spaces between each line feature a line of missing circumferential polish/slip. The exterior surface features highly limited amounts of white dendritic concretion, particularly within the comb incisions. In addition to the fine sand, moderate frequencies of medium sand are visible in the fabric. High frequencies of inclusions perforate the interior surface. Breaks are rough.
