Designated MAE1756--radiographed, XRF
Highly abraded body fragment from a large LM vessel. The exterior is both highly polished and severely abraded and chipped. The spaces between each line feature a line of missing circumferential polish/slip. Interior surface is half covered in Black GY1 2.5/N concretion or discoloration. The exterior surface and breaks feature limited amounts of white dendritic concretion. In addition to the coarse sand, moderate frequencies of medium sand are visible in the fabric. Significant frequencies of inclusions perforate both surfaces. Breaks are hackley.
