Place: Ar/Ts.SLT13.2

Very dark organic matrix beneath topsoil, and located within the locus 4 wall. A much darker color than much of SLT14. Screened part of this locus around the locus 5 stone basin at Roman's request. Nothing unusual found in screen. Roman also sampled portion of this locus immediately surround the basin, as part of the botanical sampling strategy for the basin. As such, these samples were labeled Locus 5 samples B-E and taken in cloth bags (though the soil was technically the bottom of locus 2).
