Structurally very similar narrow, deep pit as locus 20, though with some important differences. In this pit was some large pottery fragments of pottery including a rim (that will need to be washed prior to confirming periodization). These must have been deposited after breaking, since judging from the size of the sherds it's not likely a whole vessel would fit in such a narrow pit. Also, we got a good radiocarbon sample from the pit (Ar/Ts.SLT14.22.c14.1). As with the locus 20 pit, I took 3 cloth sacks of soil samples for flotation, which may produce some more sherds.
