Rim-to-body sherd from unrestricted vessel, perhaps a bowl. Interior of lower terminus of sherd is flared inward, suggesting a very shallow vessel almost like a plate. Neck is undifferentiated from rim or shoulder. Interior is slipped; exterior bears no evidence of treatment. Paste consists of small amounts of very coarse, dark grey granules suspended in pink-brown to pink-grey matrix. Thickness of the sherd from shoulder to body is variable, with a bulge (exteriorly-thickened portion) present at the central section of shoulder and body; this could be decoration, but is ambiguous. Interior is also of variable bump height. One core band is apparent, though sizable, amorphous colorations exist as \"very dark grayish brown 2.5Y 3/2.\"
