Place: Ar/Ts.SLT9.15

Large bell-shaped pit cut into bedrock near the eastern baulk of the trench. Nothing obvious contained in the pit, but it was clearly lined with reddish fired clay, remnants of which are visible along the western side of the pit and are visible in the feature photos. I screened the deposits, and took three samples (one large shopping bag, and two smaller cloth sacks.) These were labeled Ar/Ts.SLT9.15.ss1a,b,&c.
