SAME VESSEL AS WSAC2.19 - discovered while reading pottery
This locus was designated after excavating Locus 13 in WSAC2 near the southern corner of the room and several large fragments of a thin-walled vessel appeared, having been broken under the jumble of rocks noted yesterday at the top of the locus. The vessel was drawn and photographed 7/7/11 and the largest pieces removed at the end of the day.
This vessel may have been resting on a floor context contemporaneous with the linear stone feature 15 in the same room, which runs along the wall similar to the 'trough' features seen in other rooms of the West Settlement; however both Locus 14 and Feature 15 are higher than the paved floor context of WSAC, so they might represent a different living occupation of the room/site. See notebook for sketch and other elevations.
