Continuation of the very dark, blackish silty matrix of wash/overburden in the western corner and extending along the NW baulk in WSAC2. The locus abuts Locus 20 to the east and south, and is below Locus 12. There are a number of small rocks in this locus about a meter from the baulk. In the western corner there are several larger rocks and a large rim sherd resting in the matrix. Locus 19 (large first millennium BCE rim sherd) was also excavated in this locus. See notebook for sketch and elevations; given is center. Closed 18/7/11 when Locus 26 opened underneath and matrix changed to more brown/mottled, above paved floor.
