Several large ceramic fragments, mostly rims to large open vessels, found beneath rock tumble in western corner of WSAC2. At least two vessels, one of light reddish brown fabric with most of the rim preserved, the other a larger low-fired grayish rim. The sherds were photographed at different phases of removal, with rocks on top of them. Bones and other sherds around were included in this 1 by .8 m locus, abutting the SW wall of the room. The locus is likely sitting on top of a floor; the surrounding matrix did not seem to suggest an in situ floor context, but the vessels were likely left in the room when abandoned. See notebook for sketch and elevations. Excavated 12/7/11; some parts of these vessels might be in Loci 10, 20, 21 (or even higher at Loci 8 or 7).
Another piece of rim sherd from reddish-brown vessel found 13/7/11 about 30 cm to the NW from the second layer of sherds.
