This is a significantly large chunk of charcoal, larger than anything yet recovered from either WSAC or WSAD. It is roughly 2.5 cm long and 1.5 cm thick, and was found while removing the soil in the doorway between WSAC and WSAD, in Locus 24 which corresponds to the medium brown dirt beneath the overburden, closer to the SE wall face of WSAC. The piece therefore has been catalogued as WSAD, although it shares a locus with WSAC, because the locus rests on the line between the two operations.
