    This locus was created on 7/10/2013. It is the soil between features 22 and 26. It leads into the \\\'alcove\\\' (loci 25 and 40). It is 2.3 m at the longest point, and from 80 cm to 1 m wide. It was closed to create the new locus 48, to facilitate the transition between trench supervisors in a potentially important area.
