This soil sample comes from locus 18, which is a feature locus. Here we have a semi-circle of stones (9 stones total) starting from the SE wall and ending \"in\" the balk. (See drawing from July 11). Elevation is 1927.16. Found 50 cm from SE wall and 110 cm from the SW (balk) wall. The floor was spotted with charcoal and ash. I also took a charcoal sample from this locus. The floor was a very packed clay.
