This is a small sample of charcoal taken from the locus that included the scattered human remains NW of the clearly interred burial (Locus 20 = interred human remains). It was found at -90 cm from WSDB Dat 2; 1.50 m from the NW baulk; 1.6 m from the SW baulk. The charcoal bits were found below the level of the human remains.
