Remarks

This locus lies to the east of the two parallel boulders between which the majority of the human remains (Locus 20 = remains) were found. We dug it down with shovels and carefully looked in the wheelbarrows, but its material density was quite light, considering how large a locus it is. We encountered a soil change to a lighter, more clayey matrix that will require its closure soon. It lies beneath former Locus 15.

Its dimensions: NW: 1.5 m; SW: 3.3 m; SE: 1.0 m; 3.3 m to NE.

It was closed when we hit a hard, white, clayey matrix with small stones (6-10 cm diam) scattered throughout.
