This body sherd from a bowl is notable for the red paint on its exterior. The sherd is quite small, so the form of the decorative element cannot be determined, but the paint technology is unmistakable. The red paint covers about half of the sherd. Seems sloppy. Perhaps a thick stripe of some sort. The size of the inclusions is surprising for a bowl of this sort. The period should be MI IIb, once it's added into the database.
