10.17.06 This is a rim to shoulder sherd of a small jar. There is no neck and the rim emerges straight up off of the shoulder. Exterior surface is too mottled to measure a Munsell color. Only traces of polishing are evident on the exterior. The shoulder ends with a rather sharp downward turn into the body.
