9/9/06 This rectangular rimmed bowl sherd has severely worn surfaces, but judging by the traces of red burnish on the exterior, and other vessels of this type, I suspect both surfaces were once polished and red. The interior color cannot be identified due to the condition of the sherd. The rim is inward only in relation to the axis of the body, but basically vertical in relation to the axis of the vessel. In the same group as WSH.14.C.08.
