Place: Ar/Ts.WSH.18

This locus marks the floor of WSH in the southeast part of the trench, and is therefore the same as locus 28. The matrix is a packed surface mottled with orange and yellow clay and dark brown clayish silt. In some areas the surface is an orange clay, particularly towards the southeast wall near the oven installation of locus 25. A whole cup (locus 19) was found on this floor. See entry for locus 28 for more on the rest of the floor in this room. The floor of WSH was grided into one meter squares for pollen analysis. These samples are in the botanical registry under locus 18, although technically they are also from locus 28 since both of these loci represent the floor of the room.
