11.08.06 A rim to body sherd (no shoulder, really) of a large bowl or basin. The rim is double and three part. It's flat on top, extending beyond the edges of the body on both sides. It extends quite far into the interior before curving back in to the body. It extends less on the exterior, but there is still a lip on this side. The exterior edge is rounded while the interior edge of the rim is quite severe. The sherd is too small to measure the diameter precisely, but I think it's around 30. Sent for INAA in Feb 2007.
