This small piece of burned wood was found in the dark wash layer of Locus 12, which is the locus where the last of this dark, loamy wash layer can be found. It is thus not in the best context. It was found at elevation 2140.843, 133 cm from the SE edge of the trench, and 30 cm from the SW edge of the trench, in the middle of the whole room.
