Diameter of the rim of this sherd is hard to measure because its not quite large enough. Somewhere between 22 and 26 cm. The interior surface of the vessel is only smoothed up to the neck, below which it is coarse. Interior color is also variable. Below the neck the coarse surface is black, while above the interior of the rim is the same color as the exterior surface. The decorative element consists of a series of oblique lines, as far as can be seen from this sherd, where three such lines are extant. Sent to INAA in Feb 2007.
