The outward orientation of the rim of this pot sherd is very slight and at the external edge of the rim there's a slight ledge. Perhaps the rim could be described as rectangular and indented, but it's not really an indentation. The sherd is too small to know the diameter of the vessel, but it's greater than 28 cm. The body is nearly straight (vertical) in its axis--only very slightly conical. Exterior surface color is mottled. The Munsell color above is therefore an approximation. (The other part of the sherd is a dark grayish brown.)
