The decorative elements on this sherd represent a continuation of the Lchashen-Medzamor tradition of incised decoration. The sherd is probably from the shoulder of the vessel. The pattern consists of four lines created with a pointed tool, below which are four extant oblique hatches created with a press tool, below which is another line. The sherd is smoothed on both sides, without a slip. It's probably from a closed vessel, but I can't be certain.
