This jar sherd has heavy gray incrustation on both sides, especially the interior (which is why I have not indicated a surface Munsell color). On the shoulder, at the bottom of the sherd, there is a dark gray area that appears to be from post-firing burning. In addition to the medium sand in the fabric, there are also pieces of crushed black rocks.
