This is a very large bowl sherd with a continuous, rounded rim, and red-orange burnished exterior. The internal bands are not consistant across the sherd. In some areas, the gray, internal band is considerably thicker than the red band. The fabric contains grit. Very course sand is not an appropriate description. The exterior color is mottled between a light reddish- and yellowish brown. Diameter may be slightly incorrect because I had to use the incorrect rim chart for a sherd this size.
