This large rim to body sherd offers nearly an entire profile of the rounded pot. The rounded, small rim turns outward. The pot is burnt and there is carbon residue at the bottom of the sherd, on the body. The black burnt areas extend nearly to the top of the shoulder. Crushed black rock inclusions can be seen in the fabric on the surfaces. The sherd is heavily incrusted, especially on the interior. The body of the sherd and the beginning of the shoulder is black. The top of the shoulder is the Munsell color indicated above. The interior of the body is black towards the bottom of the sherd (where there are the carbon traces).
