Remarks

A locus dug along the NE baulk. The matrix was at first a dark brown aerated silt, but by the bottom a reddish clay was visible. It is unclear at the moment whether this clay is the sterile "bedrock" layer, since it is soft and not hard and / or undiggable. There were cultural materials throughout, though not many, as is typical of this room.
