Today was out last day of excavation, and we had to finish photos of T20, dig the pit (Locus 39) in T22, and also finish flattening the room in T22. And, amazingly, we made it. The pit ended up about a meter deep, and about 2 m in diameter. The materials were primarily bone (14 bags) with also a number of lithic small finds (9) and 2 bone tools (a toggle pin and a spatulate tool, though also a worked antler was found yesterday). The "floor" of the room was not fully dug down to bedrock due to time constraints, so that should probably be finished off in a new season, but there is definitely other work to be done in T22, so that shouldn't be a problem.
