ET01: Planned to take out the north half of the trench today, down to the same level as the south half, as well as cleaning the south half down to bedrock-most of it is right above. Trench damp though, moved rocks, cleaned the southwest corner down to bedrock (and straightened the west section). Due to the rain-and the goats in the trench-could not find the patch of floor we had yesterday, but what little we dug in the north part of the trench, suggests that the floor may be well preserved there-at the moment, it is a dark brown silty loam, clearing off of onto a tan clayeyer loam. Left early on account of rain.
