ET 01: Trench very wet today when we arrived. Still trying to clear off down to the tan stuff (floor?-maybe) in the north and trying to clean off the bedrock in the north.
No floor. Removing a rock, we accidentally went through about ten centemeters of the tan stuff, it turns out to be the same reddish brown stuff that was locus 2 in the south half of the trench. This means that locus 3 is essentially a continuation of locus 1, and that the deposits inside the trench slope a lot more than the surface does. Were clearing off the rest of locus 3, including lots of rocks, but had to leave the field early on account of rain.
