In T22 today we cleaned, photographed and took levels, before lifting the top layer of a sherd scatter that exists in L108. Elevations can be found in the notebook. It is difficult to know what level this sherd scatter is sitting on, since in the NW corner of L108, the bedrock has been reached, while in the center of the locus the sherd scatter is prevalent. After lifting the first layer of sherd scatter a second layer emerged. We were exposing this second layer at the end of the day, so we covered it with plastic and backfill, so we can begin where we left off tomorrow morning.
In T27 the topsoil is almost entirely removed. A row of stones stretching across the center of the trench from SE to NW is plainly visible and may represent a wall. Further down slope from this another row of stones may indicate a potential wall as well. Once the topsoil is removed (tomorrow) I will close the topsoil locus (L01) and open three loci to cover the areas of the trench separated out by the walls.
