Today was the day of the funeral, and it was also moved up by an hour, so we actually only worked from about 9.15 - 11, with a break. So it was a pretty unproductive day, and even worse, because we thought we'd work till noon, I had to leave loose dirt in the trench, which will no doubt get rained on before I return next week. We are starting to see a slight soil change in Locus 12, which is so far the 1-meter strip along the SW side of the trench, in the middle of the room. The soil is lightening near both the NW and SE walls, but it is still the black, loamy soil in the center. We were going to explore the soil change before the end of the day, but this was one project that got interrupted. The other project that got interrupted was continuing to take down Locus 3, sort of along the NE wall, north of the rock jumble in the east corner. Both of these projects will need to be continued next week. We also went to Gegharot today and got a tour, and I helped clean a possible wall in Jeff's T27.
