Today was spent entirely in WSAC, exposing the paved stone floor (Locus 29) and trying to ascertain the nature of the jumble of rocks in the southern corner of this operation, and its relation to both Feature 26 and the paved floor. The crew of 4 finished removing Locus 28, in the western corner, at the end of the day, and the stones of the paved floor do appear to continue to the SW baulk, suggesting that a) the rockfall in the southern corner is resting on top of the paved floor, and b) the pavement extends S either beyond the length of Feature 26 along the SE wall, or feature 26 actually extends and is part of the rock tumble. I did manage to have part of the rock tumble cleaned, but due to the dust in the afternoon it is still hard to make out, since some of the stones appear to be in some sort of arrangement and not just fall. There is a very large stone, roughly 1.2 m in from the SW baulk, which is resting on several smaller stones and then on the floor. Others appear to be floating on a lighter brown matrix.
Also apparent today after cleaning between the stones of Locus 29 is that the pavement does not appear to extend all the way to the NW baulk, but stops about 30 cm short in most places. This is apparently in keeping with other rooms in Precinct A with paved stone floors, particularly D, which also appear in conjunction with 'troughs' or stone features aligned with one wall of the room, in this case Feature 26 of WSAC. However, Feature 26 has a bunch of stones embedded between the linear row and the wall, and is not just an empty cavity.
