Today we focused on closing up operation WSN for the season. Completed the pass through locus 19 and arbitrarily ended the locus at the end of that. In the course of doing so, I found a fragment of a groundstone. We then cleaned the entirety of the excavated area, which meant removing some of the fallen rocks in locus 18, resting on the bedrock. Among these rocks was a very large and quite round mortar, positioned upside down. Created loci for the column base and for the two semi-trapezoidal, plaster coated stones. Then swept down the entire trench and took "final" photos. Will continue this trench next year. Most labor today was redirected toward WSI2 and WSAC/AD.
