Rocked out and opened a new locus today; locus 7. This is the small 0.25m absence of rockfall where the pendant was found yesterday. Also morphed locus 4 and 6 into locus 8, because of a tanner soil—no real change in deposits.
Ended at about 1.3m deep today. I'm itchin' to get rid of the rock pile after some pictures, but I must consult first. After all, the two highest reads are presumably underneath them. We seem to be pretty heavily into EB deposits, with diagnostic decoration, as well as the pink interior/dark exterior-ware—although I can't really make any judgements on the polish. I should be done with this season's work on T29 by Wednesday. That will be cleaning and picture day.
At the beginning of the day today, actually—almost forgot—I shot in ~25 points marked with day-glo orange tape by the GeoRisk folks on the north and west slopes. Some of the rocks they tied tape to seemed rolled a substantial amount of meters from where they should be; tape was shredded and detached as well. I shot in datum 9 in T22 for Jeff-human as well, and shot in my 1 meter-west-extension corners (NW, SW).
Got to catch a taxi at Alagyaz to get to the Tsaghkahovit party. That was really great.
Cool.
