I spent the day today drawing the sections for the N baulk of T22 (there are two drawings because a 1:50 of the whole baulk did not fit on one piece of graph paper-- and coincidentally these roughly coincide with the part of the baulk which was exposed in 2008 and is upslope and the part exposed this season and downslope). This took the whole day because we had a major rain delay for about an hour after lunch-- and it (Magdu) was spitting at us in the morning from time to time, keeping me from drawing. In any case, it seems that the upslope portion is largely LB occupation levels, while the downslope portion is mostly EB (with some LB architecture mixed in). I also had the workers excavate only in L62 and L117 (newly opened today) which will be the only loci we will continue to excavate this week. Tomorrow we will clean T27 so Hasmink can draw, and I will also finish the section for the S baulk of T27 tomorrow. Wednesday will probably be the last day in the field for me to tie up loose ends (measurements, last minute sketches, etc.) in order to give Hasmink a few days to draw and also leave a day or two for backfilling.
