I arrived late in the day today, after spending the morning with Avedis. The workers had spent the morning building protective walls in WSI2 and beginning to backfill the trench (a project that will likely take several days). In the second half of the day, we concentrated our energies in WSN. I continued to assess what rocks could be removed from locus 32 and 33. Meanwhile, the excavation and screening of locus 34 proceeded. At present, it does appear that the feature of locus 31 has more than one course of stones, as a second one began to appear while troweling the feature from its southwest side. Also, a large flat stone appeared in the northern corner, just at the end of locus 31. Are we going to see another bedrock outcrop in this corner of the room, as we saw along the southwest wall?
