Narrative

In the NW corner of Locus 10, we found a piece of groundstone (Ar/Ge.T31.10.L.02) at 2284.35 masl. In the NW corner, we turned up some large fragments of EB pottery, on the western side of a large stone. Because of this, the operation will be split into an eastern and western section after we close Locus 10. The eastern section will be Locus 12. There is a line of rocks out from the large stone along the northern wall, which might be part of a buried wall.
In the late morning, we close Locus 10 and opened Locus 12. The matrix in Locus 12 appears to be the same mottled (medium and dark brown, black, and tan) clay as we saw in Locus 10. In Locus 12, in the SE corner, there are some small globules of raw clay. Along the eastern wall, there is more charcoal, some of which is in thin lines (3-4 cm across).
