Narrative

Started off as a cool morning today, but quickly got windy and was a difficult afternoon to work during. We begin the day finishing the final pass in T32 (that is, L20 which is the removal of the destruction layer that sits directly on top of the clay platform at the bottom of the trench). After clearing this (during which we found a bronze bracelet(?) Ar/Ge.T32.20.M.01 and a series of red stone beads just outside of the clay berm that marks off Ar/Ge.T32.18), we began to remove the baulk between T32 and T33 in order to see the entire room (that is present in T27, T32 and T33) at once-- the removal of the baulk is T32, L21. We also discovered what seems to be charred rope (hemp of some sort) in a pile of burnt wood/organic debris in the northern section of L20, just E of the large storage jar (Ar/Ge.T32.17)-- Adam has taken a sample for study under a microscope to see if we can determine what material this is. It's possible that this comes from a table instead of the superstructure.
Tomorrow we'll clean for photographs and then begin removing the ceramics from T32.
