At the top of SLT13 locus 6, we had to break some big rocks that appear to have been wall collapse. Underneath the stones we recovered a small c14 sample that probably will not be great for submission, but collected anyway at 2.56m below datum (Ar/Ts.SLT13.6.c14.1).
In SLT14, we're trying to level of the compact clay locus 5 layer. We're definitely on a floor level that I will call locus 9, and we even found a large fragment of groundstone against the west baulk on the floor at 1.29m below datum (Ar/Ts.SLT14.9.L.1). I'll try to bring this whole floor down to that depth. The beginning of locus 5 may be an upper floor level around 0.88m below datum, or it may be a single thick floor level. A small wall is emerging NW-SE along the locus 9 floor, so this, along with the recovered groundstone, suggests this may be the main occupation level. The depth of the locus 9 floor is about even with the SLT10, locus 16 floor as well which also had a small wall running through it.
