Coming down in Locus 20, we found a small piece of groundstone (Ar/Ge.T31.20.L.04) near the wall (which is now Locus 25) at 2284.09 masl. In the SW corner of Locus 20, we found a polishing stone (Ar/Ge.T31.20.L.05) at 2284.18 masl. From the screened material from the SW corner of Locus 20, we found a fragment of an andiron (Ar/Ge.T31.20.CO.01).
While cleaning the eastern side of the wall (Locus 25), we found a small piece of bronze (Ar/Ge.T31.20.M.01) at 2284.00 masl. It was found among the rocks near Locus 25, which are either wall fall or another wall. EBA ceramics were also coming out from among the rocks. While taking Locus 24 down to the level of Locus 19, we found a small piece of bronze (Ar/Ge.T31.24.M.01) in the screened materials from the bottom third of the locus.
After closing Locus 20, I did a small probe in the SE corner of the trench. As the matrix seems to be the same, I opened a new locus (Locus 26) and started with shovels except where the rocks make it impossible. In general, the matrix in Locus 26 is the same mottled tan and medium brown clay, nixed with lenses of charcoal and ash. Along the eastern wall of the trench, there are small globules of light tan clay in the matrix. Material densities thus far are low. We came down on what appear to be two pits, one in the NE corner, the other along the southern wall of the trench, but rain and an early departure prevented any further investigation.
