We opened loci 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26 today. 23 was a return to the SE end of the trench (where locus 5 had previously been), and it soon became obvious there was not a lot of digging we could do there without breaking more rocks, which we put off for the next day. With some extra labor we got a good amount done, and are at or very near to the floor in about 2/3 of the trench.
