Began screening a sample of locus 3 in T02b to recover some of the small bits of bone and obsidian. Sample area is 1m deep vertically by about 80cmx1m horizontally. Today we went down 40cm into sample area. Will keep each day's take separate for better control of provenience, especially important for carbon recovered from sreen.
Recovered a bone tool while cleaning top of locus 3 in T02b just before beginning to screen.
Also opened a 1x1.5m eastern extension to see if T02 E.B. wall continues east. But almost immediately hit the terrace wall, which became locus 27. The terrace wall must be E.B. also since it abuts E.B. wall.
Also continued to go down in locus 3 of T02c inside L.B. wall. Down about 3 courses and, judging from the 5 remaining courses in T02, we shouldn't have too much longer to go before hitting the floor. Still not much material coming out of this area.
